Lodging an application

Depending on the matter type different lodgement options are available.

 Matter type   Lodgement options
 Minor civil disputes including:
  • residential tenancy disputes
  • debt disputes
  • consumer disputes

In person
By mail
Electronic lodgement (for approved persons or organisations only)

 

  • guardianship for adults
  • administration for adults 
  • children and young people 
  • anti-discrimination

In person
By mail, fax or email

All other matter types that require payment In person
By mail or fax

All QCAT applications will be able to be lodged at the local Magistrates Court or at QCAT’s registry in 259 Queen Street, Brisbane.
